There is zero doubt about the inspiration behind this burger, a potato bun filled with popcorn chicken, sauce and lettuce and nothing goes amiss here. The chicken is delicious, a bite-sized version of Winner Winner’s classic fried chicken, and the sauce is what Ronald McDonald wishes he could mass produce. The little bit of soft serve ice cream in lieu of a dipping sauce for the fries is a playful reference to the fries in milkshake craze but you’re under no obligation to partake. Both taste great both separately, and together.

For $20, the value you get in phenomenal. This is the perfect execution of ‘anything you can do, I can do better’. McDonald’s doesn’t even know its playing against a Winner Winner.
