If you don’t know what min-maxing is, it’s the concept of maximising a certain aspect of one thing via the sacrifice of everything else, and the idea is that you apply that principle to a few different things so that the maximised elements make up for the minimised elements elsewhere.

Take the Pull My Cheek by Avida, for example.

Pork cheek is soft, flavourful, and has no semblance of structure to it. Prok crackling, on the other hand, is crispy, texturally perfect and does little in the way of flavour. But combined, you lack not the shortcomings of either section of the pig, and instead enjoy a perfectly balanced pork burger. The pickled jalapeño gives a likttle kick, and the rest of the dressing adds freshnness and bite, but the real star here is, as was always going to be, the two pork meats, both playing off each other in juicy goodness.
